I have a twitter, but even though it's actually popular where I live, I never use it. I find it useless. Isn't Facebook sufficient enough to fill your social networking desires? Twitter is just useless to me. I wish someone would make a good argument in favor of twitter because i've yet to hear one. It's just another way to publicly talk to your friends.
