Bohemian Waves

The winter is never good to our hair (or skin!). And using heat makes it even worse! So here is a styling method that will not dry out your already fragile hair. It's super simple, so I hope you like it! Here are the steps!

STEP 1: Start with dry hair. And by the way, I know my hair is already sort of wavy, but I tried my best to brush all the waves out before it could dry! I could've straightened it first to show how well this stuff really works, but that would include using heat, which is cheating!

STEP 2: Get an empty spray bottle to reuse.

STEP 3: Put some salt (about 2 tablespoons) into a small bowl. The salt is the key ingredient, it actually makes the hair turn wavy.

STEP 4: Add sugar (about 5 tablespoons) to the salt, along with water (enough to fill your spray bottle). The sugar will serve as sort of a hairspray because it will make the hair stiffer and make it stay wavy longer. Then just pop the mixture into the microwave for 20-30 seconds (depending on your microwave).

STEP 5: Spray away! Dampen your hair, do not drench it. But make sure you get all of it! P.S. That's a hot face right there.

STEP 6: Scrunch the hair in-between your fingers to create the waves.

FINISHED! You should have messy waves now!

This is a very easy spray to make and it's great for those mornings when your hair decides to freak out. Just use the spray, let it air-dry, and you have an effortless look the involved nada heat!

Christmas!

I had a great Christmas with my family! Everyone was in a good mood for the whole day (which is out of the usual). And we had this random assortment of foods for Christmas Dinner (un-cured ham, baked potatoes, and broccoli!) but it made Christmas even better! Not to mention that my mom (or santa....) got me a guitar! I'm so excited to learn how to play! But anyways I hope everyone had a great holiday!

Christmas Makeup Look #3

Hello! I'm trying to do a lot of these before Christmas comes so I can inspire y'all, but I have the memory of a goldfish, so I keep forgetting to actually do it. Oh well, there's always New Years tutorials! If you want me to do those just say the word by the way. So let's get to it!

Most Christmas looks are just innocent and festive, but I thought i'd make a more sultry one!

As you can see, the eyeliner is quite thick, and the eyeshadow is in a cat eye shape.

But what I love about this look the most is that it's a "sexier" look, but the waterline is lined with white. Personally i'm just not a fan of lining my waterline with black, so this is awesome for me!

The eyeshadow is a smokey purple and pink. And the eyeliner is just black. The lips are a rosy pink.

Have an amazing holiday!

Christmas Makeup Look #2

This look is another Christmas edition! It's not classically "Christmassy", but I still think it's festive! Hope you enjoy!

The eyeshadow is yellow and orange, and the liner is emerald green. I LOVE THIS LOOK!

Oh, hey Kesha behind me. This is my magazine-collage-wall by the way.

Hope you can see the colors better, my camera (as usual) sucks hard.

Hope you like it and I hope you have an awesome holiday!

Christmas Makeup Look #1

I went Christmas tree shopping the other day! And i'm sooo in the mood for Christmas right now! So I put together this little look for y'all. And as you can see by the title, this look is going to be one of many. As usual my camera sucks, so just imagine that all of the colors look way better. It's not the typical Christmas colors, but I think they're really festive and pretty!
You can't see too well, but the colors are copper and chocolate brown!
Awkward looking hair...
I'm wearing a lot of mascara, but no eyeliner actually!
I should really figure out how to turn these pictures...
I hope you like! There's more on the way!

Christmas Mood

I'm so in the mood for Christmas right now! I and decorated my tree the other day and it really made it feel like winter. The weather in unseasonably warm, which in Massachusetts's case isn't very warm at all. But it's not snowing! I might be bummed out if I don't have a white Christmas, but it's cool. Bring on the cider!
