I suck.

I broke my sister's camera the other day, so I have no way to really take pictures. I'm going to wait until I have a camera again and I'll start posting again. It could be a while, but i'll be back!

Vintage Jewelery

I got some new jewelry from a local consignment shop the other day, and I thought I'd show you 2 of them I wore today!

I love these earrings sooo much!
The color of the gold is really unique too.
And there's some kind of pearlish thing in the middle.
The necklace is actually an old magnifying glass
It doesn't really work because it's all old and such, but I still love it. The length is great too.
I really recommend looking at your local thrift or consignment shops for cool jewelry and trinkets.

All Natural

Hey! I haven't posted in a while, so sorry about that. Anywhooo last time I posted I was talking about not wearing eyeliner and generally less makeup for a while. Well I think that's sort of over. It lasted a good week and i'm not done with it completely! I just can't do it on the daily. I like bright, fun, makeup too much. I'll deff be incorporating it into my arsenal of makeup looks though. Here's one look. There were a few, I might post those later.

I was going for a really sheer and natural look. It's vaseline on my cheeks by the way :)

For the eyes I think I used a bit of brown shadow in my lash line and a lot of mascara.

I really like it because it's so healthy looking!

I hope you like! Good luck!

Creative Makeup Time: Mossy

Hey you guys! I've been feeling great lately, you? I've decided not to wear eyeliner anymore. And obviously this is not a permanent thing, but I just want to lighten up on the makeup generally. I went pretty hard for the "holiday season", so i'm going to switch it up a bit.

So this look is pretty simple. I just used mossy green eyeshadow and a brown (with green undertones) eyeshadow.

As usual my camera is terrible. I don't even know how a camera can mess up color, but it did! The lips are a bit darker and less pink looking. In person it's more of a light mahogany.

I also lined my waterline with a flesh colored pencil (I don't count that as eyeliner) and used it on my tear ducts as well.

And even though i'm giving up the eyeliner, I will never give up mascara. Never. Even when i'm going for really natural looks with minimal makeup I use sooo much mascara. I can't help myself!

Thought this picture would make it easier to see the makeup, but it mostly just makes me look really unattractive. Ehh, it happens.

I hope you liked it, and hope you could see the green too! Have a great day!

Sheer and Natural

I'm thinking of trying something new. Lately i've been pulling out the bright colors a lot (which has been really fun), but I think i'm going to change it up. Today I only put a bit of brown eyeshadow in my lashline and some mascara on. And I also put some vaseline on my cheek bones. I didn't look 'hot' or 'fun', but I looked simple and chill. It was a really relaxed look and I think i'll wear it to school on Monday. I'll also be putting up pictures of the look later, but if you needed further proof that this look is pure beauty then here it is! Also in the future I'll probably be wearing this a bit bronzier.

Hope you'll try out this new look with me! Have a great day!

George

This isn't one of my fashion or beauty posts. It's not really about anything, but anyways... my friend came over today and we hung out for like 4 hours or something. I can honestly say we did nothing at all. We just talked, and he listened. My best friend Elaina is always available to talk to, but she knows every single thing about me. So it was interesting to just learn about someone and just listen to what they had to say. Any who, it was just really nice sitting down and talking to him about whatever. I suggest everyone gets a guy friend that they can be totally comfortable with. I was only wearing mascara and my hair was terrible, but that didn't really matter. It was just really nice. I had a really pleasant, relaxed day.

Bohemian Waves

The winter is never good to our hair (or skin!). And using heat makes it even worse! So here is a styling method that will not dry out your already fragile hair. It's super simple, so I hope you like it! Here are the steps!

STEP 1: Start with dry hair. And by the way, I know my hair is already sort of wavy, but I tried my best to brush all the waves out before it could dry! I could've straightened it first to show how well this stuff really works, but that would include using heat, which is cheating!

STEP 2: Get an empty spray bottle to reuse.

STEP 3: Put some salt (about 2 tablespoons) into a small bowl. The salt is the key ingredient, it actually makes the hair turn wavy.

STEP 4: Add sugar (about 5 tablespoons) to the salt, along with water (enough to fill your spray bottle). The sugar will serve as sort of a hairspray because it will make the hair stiffer and make it stay wavy longer. Then just pop the mixture into the microwave for 20-30 seconds (depending on your microwave).

STEP 5: Spray away! Dampen your hair, do not drench it. But make sure you get all of it! P.S. That's a hot face right there.

STEP 6: Scrunch the hair in-between your fingers to create the waves.

FINISHED! You should have messy waves now!

This is a very easy spray to make and it's great for those mornings when your hair decides to freak out. Just use the spray, let it air-dry, and you have an effortless look the involved nada heat!
