Bohemian Waves

The winter is never good to our hair (or skin!). And using heat makes it even worse! So here is a styling method that will not dry out your already fragile hair. It's super simple, so I hope you like it! Here are the steps!

STEP 1: Start with dry hair. And by the way, I know my hair is already sort of wavy, but I tried my best to brush all the waves out before it could dry! I could've straightened it first to show how well this stuff really works, but that would include using heat, which is cheating!

STEP 2: Get an empty spray bottle to reuse.

STEP 3: Put some salt (about 2 tablespoons) into a small bowl. The salt is the key ingredient, it actually makes the hair turn wavy.

STEP 4: Add sugar (about 5 tablespoons) to the salt, along with water (enough to fill your spray bottle). The sugar will serve as sort of a hairspray because it will make the hair stiffer and make it stay wavy longer. Then just pop the mixture into the microwave for 20-30 seconds (depending on your microwave).

STEP 5: Spray away! Dampen your hair, do not drench it. But make sure you get all of it! P.S. That's a hot face right there.

STEP 6: Scrunch the hair in-between your fingers to create the waves.

FINISHED! You should have messy waves now!

This is a very easy spray to make and it's great for those mornings when your hair decides to freak out. Just use the spray, let it air-dry, and you have an effortless look the involved nada heat!

Christmas!

I had a great Christmas with my family! Everyone was in a good mood for the whole day (which is out of the usual). And we had this random assortment of foods for Christmas Dinner (un-cured ham, baked potatoes, and broccoli!) but it made Christmas even better! Not to mention that my mom (or santa....) got me a guitar! I'm so excited to learn how to play! But anyways I hope everyone had a great holiday!

Christmas Makeup Look #3

Hello! I'm trying to do a lot of these before Christmas comes so I can inspire y'all, but I have the memory of a goldfish, so I keep forgetting to actually do it. Oh well, there's always New Years tutorials! If you want me to do those just say the word by the way. So let's get to it!

Most Christmas looks are just innocent and festive, but I thought i'd make a more sultry one!

As you can see, the eyeliner is quite thick, and the eyeshadow is in a cat eye shape.

But what I love about this look the most is that it's a "sexier" look, but the waterline is lined with white. Personally i'm just not a fan of lining my waterline with black, so this is awesome for me!

The eyeshadow is a smokey purple and pink. And the eyeliner is just black. The lips are a rosy pink.

Have an amazing holiday!

Christmas Makeup Look #2

This look is another Christmas edition! It's not classically "Christmassy", but I still think it's festive! Hope you enjoy!

The eyeshadow is yellow and orange, and the liner is emerald green. I LOVE THIS LOOK!

Oh, hey Kesha behind me. This is my magazine-collage-wall by the way.

Hope you can see the colors better, my camera (as usual) sucks hard.

Hope you like it and I hope you have an awesome holiday!

Christmas Makeup Look #1

I went Christmas tree shopping the other day! And i'm sooo in the mood for Christmas right now! So I put together this little look for y'all. And as you can see by the title, this look is going to be one of many. As usual my camera sucks, so just imagine that all of the colors look way better. It's not the typical Christmas colors, but I think they're really festive and pretty!
You can't see too well, but the colors are copper and chocolate brown!
Awkward looking hair...
I'm wearing a lot of mascara, but no eyeliner actually!
I should really figure out how to turn these pictures...
I hope you like! There's more on the way!

Christmas Mood

I'm so in the mood for Christmas right now! I and decorated my tree the other day and it really made it feel like winter. The weather in unseasonably warm, which in Massachusetts's case isn't very warm at all. But it's not snowing! I might be bummed out if I don't have a white Christmas, but it's cool. Bring on the cider!

Traveling Supplies!

As you know, i'm in North Carolina right now, and i'm staying for a week. So I had to decide what makeup to bring! I plan on doing pretty minimal makeup since i'm just hanging out with my family. So I brought a black and brown eyeliner. I'm probably only using the brown, but I brought black incase! Any ways I also brought a lip balm and a couple of chapsticks, because they are so neccesary! You don't want chapped lips! And since i'm going for minimal eye makeup, I figured why not play around with lip color? So I brought a bunch of bright and fun lipsticks (like red, salmon, barbie pink, and metallics)! And I brought some lipliner too. Plus I brought a cheek stain in bright pink and a blush (with a brush too). Since i'm going light on the eyes (I actually went all-nayural to the airport!) I only brought neutral color eyeshadows. I brought one pallet with bright green and blue in it, but I don't plan on using those (just the dark brown that's also inthat one). But anyways, that's what I brought with me for makeup! Hope I helped some pack! Have a nice holiday!

Thanksgiving!

For Thanks Giving I'm visiting my dad! He lives in North Carolina, so me and my sister flew over here yesterday. The flight was horrible and full of creepy old men, but worth it when we landed. Every year for Thanks Giving my dad's side of the familly goes to my aunts house. It's always super hectic (my aunt had SEVEN kids!), but it's a blast! So anyways i'm going to be here, in North Carolina for a week! Have a great Thanks Giving y'all!

December Inspiration!

I'm a bit early, but that's because I want to give you all a heads up before December arrives! This is just a couple of pictures that i think will really inspire winter style this season, or atleast they inspire me! Hope you like!

The top knot is definitely over. So this laid back, simple bun is just chill and easy.

I like this makeup a lot because it's very bronzed (which people normally only do for summer makeup). Plus the smokey eye is intense without being harsh, black. Overall this makeup is pretty and flawless.

This picture simply inspires me, i'm not saying people are going to start dressing up like wood elves (as interesting as that seems). But the different shades of green and peach are both very good fall colors.
This look is pretty far-fetched too, but the colors are what i'm focusing (mainly) on here. They're rich and gorgeous colors (also great for fall!). I love the pattern too!

I've seen these shorts EVERYWHERE. And i'm so into them! People normally would only wear shorts in the summer, but with some tights and great boots underneath they're perfect!

For this look, i'm not saying you should slap on the rainbow eyeshadow, but take brighter colors into consideration! Plus the lips AND eyes are bold! People normally shy away from having intense eyes and lips at the same time, but as long as they're not too bright you can so get away with it!

These are perfect for winter! As you know i'm obsessed with wedges, but most wedges aren't right for winter, so these booties are great! Just don't wear them when the ground is slippery!

Kesha is a bit on the trashy side, but her hair is to die for! The effortless waves and random braids are a boho obsessor's dream come true!

Some think orange lips were a fast fading trend, but i'm still way into it! It's not too romantic looking (like a lot of reds and pinks),It's retro and super-cool! Plus there are many shades that work (coral, tangerine, melon, pumpkin etc.)

I'm also very into uniquely shaped sun glasses at the moment! And people also normally think sunglasses are only for summer, but worn with a scarf and coat it looks ultra chic!

I like this scarf! Especially the fringe and pale colors together in this one!
Hope you liked it! Have a good winter y'all!

Creative Makeup Time: Retro Eyeliner!

While doing my makeup for school this morning, I decided to try something new. So instead of just winging my eyeliner out, I winged it up a bit. It's sort-of at a diagonal, but anyways I really like this look! It's simple too, so here are some pictures!
I paired this look with rose-ish pink lips by the way.

I'm a bit awkward as you can see...

And as usual my camera is horrible, so you can't tell too well, but it's winged out more than it looks and it's a blacker black.

FRECKLES.

Hope you like!

Creative Makeup Time: Sunset

               Sunset Makeup

I was bored, so I just decided to mess around with some pretty colors. I really like doing bright and fun makeup looks. And seeing as I do them quite often, I think I should post them regularly! I hope I inspire y'all and I hope you enjoy!
P.S. Sadly my camera sucks, so you can't tell how the colors really look. They are quite vivid actually!

Halloween!

It's been a wicked long time since I last posted! But I honestly don't have any excuse, i'm just lazy :) Anyways I decided to be Kesha for halloween! I didn't take like any pictures, but here's one or two.
This is my bestest friend, Elaina. She was No-hotter-bitch-laden (Osama Bin Laden in woman form lol).

Very bad quality picture, but atleast you can see my 'costume'. ACCURATE RIGHT?
I was going for the drink all day, party all night look :)
I think the makeup looks pretty legit. But I didn't get any pictures of the outfit! I made it out of random articles of clothing I had around the house. I had these aztec tights, a ripped up band tee, and frayed jean shorts. For a last minute halloween costume it turned out really good! I hope your halloweens were great too!

Halloween Look #2

My mom told me to clean my room, so I took the opportunity to mess around. Since I still haven't decided what I want to be for halloween, I just drew two big circles on my cheeks with red lipstick in hopes that I would inspire myself. It worked!

If you want me to do a tutorial or something tell me! And also I know Pikachu doesn't have freckles/whiskers, but I just thought it made the look cute since the only 'trademark' pikachu things are the nose and cheeks. Hope you like! Good luck!
P.S. As always the photos aren't edited, so y'all can see how it really looks.

Fall Photo Shoot

Me and my sister decided to walk around my neighborhood, taking pictures and this is the result!
It was so beautiful out that day!

Swaggering around with my hot cocoa.

I'm an awkward person, if you haven't noticed.

Gangster.

My beautiful sister :)

Love her!

She's such a cutie <3
I hope you enjoyed! Good luck!
